Metaverse is like an elephant of blind men. Everyone has a puzzle piece of what it might be, but there lies an absence of consensus regarding the entire picture.
At this stage, it is a matter of who will be the actual realiz-er of the blurry concept into life. We believe we can fill out the puzzle piece in an elegant fashion.
Then what will the complete puzzle look like?
The Matthew Ball’s “The Metaverse: What It Is, Where to Find it, Who Will Build It, and Fortnite” article became a classic piece that gives us a broader glimpse of what the metaverse is to be.
Metaverse will be “a manifestation of actual reality, but one based in a virtual (often theme park-like) world, such those portrayed in Ready Player One and The Matrix.”
The key components of the metaverse will be:
- Persistency (without resets, pauses nor ends)
- Real-Time Synchronicity (just like in real-life)
- Absence of cap ceiling of concurrent users (providing individual sense of “presence”)
- Fully-functioning economy
- Experience that spans both physical and digital
- Interoperability without discontinuity
- Limitless range of contributors
Though conceptualization requires specific standards as such, the intuitive definition of the metaverse will be a “replication of reality; in the mutually exclusive and collectively exhaustive sense”
The metaverse will require every counterparts from the real-world. To fill out the metaverse puzzle, we will need digital twins of every components that sum-up reality.
As fashion leaves a blank space on the metaverse puzzle, Altava will fill out the empty space.
